Current diabetes-management apps do not cater to people eating only local Indian diets. The lack of this resource affects the underprivileged diabetics the most-without financial resources and medical personnel at their side, slight mis-doses can be fatal.

EatRite hopes to help diabetics calculate or estimate their insulin dosage for the food they eat to prevent fatal mis-doses.
